WHY VIRTUAL CARE

Why call a doctor instead of driving to one?

Because it's 9 p.m. and nothing's open

Doctors are available 24 hours a day, every day, including weekends and holidays. Most members are speaking to someone within about fifteen minutes.

Because you can't lose the shift

An urgent care trip costs you three or four hours. A call costs you fifteen minutes, from your break room or your couch.

Because a waiting room is full of sick people

You're not sitting next to somebody's flu for an hour to get treated for a sinus infection.

Because you already know what it costs

Nothing. Doctor visits, dermatology, and mental health visits cost $0 every time. No bill arrives three weeks later.

WHAT A VISIT COSTS

Same sore throat. Same Tuesday night. Three very different bills.

Legacy TeleMed doctor visit$0

Included with your membership, however often you call.

Urgent care, paying cash$150 – $280

Base evaluation only. X-rays, lab tests, or stitches push it to $300–$500 or more.

Emergency room, paying cash$1,000 – $2,500

For common, non-emergency conditions. Complex visits run higher.

Self-pay ranges: Solv Health, "How Much Does Urgent Care Cost Without Insurance," 2026. Health Care Cost Institute data show urgent care prices rose 12.4% from 2018 to 2022. Bars scale to the top of each range.

Urgent care is still the right call sometimes

If something needs to be looked at, touched, X-rayed, or stitched, go. A broken wrist doesn't get set over the phone. Virtual care handles the long list of things that don't need hands — which is most of what sends people to urgent care in the first place. For anything that feels like an emergency, call 911.

One thing that isn't free, said up front

Doctor visits, dermatology, and mental health visits cost nothing per visit, however often you use them. Lab testing is the exception: it carries a consultation fee plus the cost of the lab work, which is discounted. We'd rather tell you now than have you find out later.

FOR BUSINESSES & GROUPS

Something you can offer your team on Monday.

No payroll connection, no enrollment cycle, no HR lift. You tell your people it exists, and they take it from there. Cover it if you want to — most don't have to.

WHY WE BUILT THIS

Care doesn't get skipped. It gets postponed until it's expensive.

You know how it goes. Something's been bothering you for a week. It's probably nothing. And a visit means taking off work, sitting in a waiting room, and then waiting again for a bill you can't predict.

So it waits. The thing that was simple in March becomes urgent care in June, and by then it's cost a week of work and a bill nobody planned for.

| Cost is the reason people wait. So we took cost out of the visit.

Legacy TeleMed is for the people the system keeps missing — hourly workers, families between jobs, small business teams, anyone whose deductible is high enough that they're paying cash anyway. One membership. One price. Everyone in the house.
